In Orthodox Tradition, the Parish priest visits the homes of his parishioners during January, and blesses their homes with water that was blessed during the Epiphany service. Listed below is this year’s program according to suburb.
If Fr Dimitri came and blessed your home during January 2024, and you would like him to come again, you do not have to do anything, he will come, God willing, on the day mentioned below. If however he did not come in January 2024 and you would like him to come then email church@stioannis.org.au and mention your name, address and contact phone number. Also, if Fr Dimitri has come in the past but this year you cannot have him, e.g. because you will not be home, please email church@stioannis.org.au and let Fr Dimitri know not to come.
